The inaugural Police Remembrance Ride, known as the Wall to Wall Ride for Remembrance, was completed in September last year with more than 30 WA Police employees and supporters riding across Australia and raising more than $150,000 for Princess Margaret Hospital with a $10,000 donation being made to Radio Lollipop.
WA Police Commissioner Karl O’Callaghan and WA Police Minister Rob Johnson visited PMHs Radio Lollipop studio early in February to present the cheque.
Mr OCallaghan, aka DJ Commish, also spent some time practicing his hula-hooping skills and speaking on the radio with volunteers and patients.
Funds will be used to boost craft supplies, games and prizes for the children.
