We are so proud of every single one of our “willing” volunteers who took on the challenge of the Great North Run. It is the world’s biggest half marathon and raises millions for charities in the UK and abroad – this year there was a runner from nearly every country in the world. It was a warm sunny day which made the 13+ miles a long hard run but everyone from RL Newcastle were totally committed to getting over that finish line. It isn’t about how fast or how hard you run but achieving your personal goal of getting to the end and, of course, raising money for our great charity. More news about the amount raised will follow when the figures are finally in.
Again I can’t begin to say how proud we are of every single runner – and they have already noted the date for the 2017 GNR 😉 😉 😉 😉
