On the 7th of September Radio Lollipop Newcastle’s fun-seeking mascot “Lolli” took part in the Great North Run Mascot Race on Newcastle Quayside – thankfully it was only 100 meters rather than 13.1 miles of the main GNR. Lolli had some fierce opposition in the form of 6 other mascots (all of whom had costumes with legs!!!!) but carried our regardless and came in a valiant last – which meant more publicity and cheers especially when “Lolli” started to dance halfway into the race.
Who is Lolli ???? – well we can’t possibly tell you that now can we!!!!
