Everything you need to know for Uniform Free Day 2024
Transperth’s annual fundraiser for Radio Lollipop will take place Wednesday 13 March as bus drivers and staff swap their uniforms for costumes to raise money for Radio Lollipop. Collection tins are placed on buses and passengers are encouraged to make a donation. Transperth staff and Radio Lollipop volunteers will also be out and about in the CBD and at train stations collecting donations.
Every March for the past 29 years, thousands of bus drivers, Transperth staff and Radio Lollipop volunteers, businesses and schools join forces to raise money for Radio Lollipop. Uniform Free Day is our major annual fundraising event in Western Australia! Collection tins are placed on buses and passengers are encouraged to make a donation from drivers. Collections are also done throughout the Perth CBD, businesses and schools across the State.
Increase the frequency of Radio Lollipop moments for kids like Isla and Bella by donating online, on buses and at train stations.
Funds raised from this year’s event will keep our music on the air and broadcasting live to children around the State. It will also assist with the costs of providing games, craft and supplies as well as covering some operational costs such as licensing and insurance.
