Radio Lollipop was delighted to have begun
working from the Logan Hospital’s Paediatric Ward
from 20 August.
As with other “satellite” stations within Radio
Lollipop, programs broadcast from the Mater
Children’s Hospitals will be transmitted down to the
Logan Hospital.
We have initially begun providing our service on
Monday and Tuesday, with plans to expand this in
the very near future.
Through our own fundraising efforts, coupled with
the generous support of the community and
community organisations, Radio Lollipop outfitted
the Ward’s Playroom with an “Enchanted Forest”
theme, which the children just love (especially the
Treehouse)!

Beginning at the Logan Hospital has been in the
pipeline for quite some time. It is therefore great to
finally see that special magic provided by Radio
Lollipop volunteers now being provided to even
more children.

Designed by two kids at the hospital, this cake
was baked for Radio Lollipop Miami’s 5th
birthday party on August 14 2001. At the party
the renovated studio was also launched including
new carpets and a metal back wall so that
magnets can be used to put up the art. All thanks
to a US$20,000 grant.
