We can announce that the final tally for the Radio Lollipop (Edinburgh) Black Tie Ball 2008 is in excess of £10,000! The event was held at the Roxburghe Hotel on 3rd October and attracted over 200 guests who all gave very generously.

A number of students from Canterbury College in Brisbane gave up their Saturday to support Radio Lollipop in their annual fundraising event Lollipop Day on Saturday 25th October at both Logan Hyperdome and Grand Plaza Shopping Centres. The students many of whom who have experienced first-hand the joy Radio Lollipop brings to sick children in hospital.
The students rattled donation tins and raised almost $2000 in just one day between both shopping centres selling Radio Lollipop merchandise. Miss Lollipop (Aka Alexis from Canterbury College) also made a visit to Logan Hyperdome to say hi to all the children.
A huge thank you to the students and volunteers involved in Lollipop Day at both Logan Hyperdome and Grand Plaza.
