Hollyoaks visits radio lollipop!

The Radio Lollipop volunteer team was present for the launch of Chase Terrace College radio station (in Staffordshire) yesterday, which is exciting stuff and a great privilege it was too. Whilst there, our stall received a visit from none other than Jake Hendriks, who plays the part of Kieron Hobbs in Hollyoaks. Jake was happy to pose for photos with the Lollipop team and these will also be posted on the college website – check out the local Staffordshire websites and newspapers for more photos and news on the launch of the college radio station! Picture to follow.

Poppy brings a friend to glasgow

Poppy the mascot returned home to Glasgow recently with Hello Kitty on his arm. They both visited the wards and gave gifts to the children before heading out for a table for two in Glasgow’s
City Centre. They both then continued their journey to Manchester and further visits to our fellow Radio Lollipop stations down South. He finally said his goodbyes to Kitty at the airport last weekend. Poppy will continue his holiday and is staying with his Auntie Denise in London for the remainder of March and will return home in April.
