It was rocketastic fun during week 4 of the Space Rocket Project at Radio Lollipop in Bristol.
We had patients, siblings, parents, grannies, Radio Lollipop Volunteers and students from The University of the West of England’s Medical Science Society and Space Exploration Society all busy building and decorating rockets!

The Radio Lollipop Bristol & University of West of England Space Rocket Project continues to be a big success with patients, volunteers and staff at Bristol Children’s Hospital.
During week three of our project our volunteers took out special rocket project packs to the wards for some of the children who were unable to join in the activities in the main hospital play room.
Even Hobble the Bear was getting involved in the project this week by designing his own personalised rocket.
We were also provided with special hats made by one patient to help keep the aliens away!!
The fun continues.
We are very excited and proud to announce that the Radio Lollipop Bristol Team has been nominated for the Not for Profit Organisations Award at The Regional Awards for our services to the local community.
