Radio Lollipop Newcastle does the Great North Run 2016

It is that time again in Radio Lollipop Newcastle land – the greatest half marathon in the world the Great North Run comes to town. We have 18 plucky volunteers running the 13.1 miles from Newcastle to South Shields so huge cheers to Lydia, Charlotte, Marc, Michael, Richard, Sherrill, Emma B, Amy, Alex, George, Nathan, Joby, Emma H, Chloe, Jess, Alice, Tilly and our poster playmaker Stephanie.

Good luck everyone and if you start to struggle putting one foot in front of another just think how much lovely lolly you are making for Lollipop and how much that will mean to our volunteers, patients and families.

Radio Lollipop Edinburgh had a visit last Thursday (1st September) from Rachel King, the Events and Conferencing Operations Manager at Hilton Edinburgh Grosvenor.

Hilton have been supporting us for a while and will continue to fundraise for Radio Lollipop over the coming year. We are so grateful for their continued support of our wonderful charity.
