The Birmingham Radio Lollipop volunteer team recently enjoyed a fun day at Tudor Grange Park, to help raise awareness of our fantastic charity. We were one of many stalls on the day, situated next to the main stage. There was a clown, dogshow, martial arts, lots of dance acts, singing, hot food and cold food and Radio Lollipop also raised much needed funds with a ‘Pick A Ticket’ stall. The team had a lot of fun on the day and some of the new members of the team were able to help with hosting and interviewing the acts, which will stand them in good stead for future events (watch out for these in 2012!). The host, Mark Daniels said ‘it was great to see Radio Lollipop involved, your guys did really well and I would like to see you guys hosting your own events in the near future’. Thanks for your support Mark and thanks to everybody who donated and supported us also on the day.
