Gc suns brighten up the christmas season for the kids at radio lollipop gold coast
15 December 2011

The studio was shining bright with the Christmas spirit as Gold Coast Suns players Liam Patrick, Josh Caddy, Jeremy Taylor and mascot Sunny Ray visited the kids at Radio Lollipop Gold Coast on Monday 5th December. In a new Suns community programme, a few of the administration staff also visited the kids on the ward.

Due to the wind down to Christmas it was a very quiet night on the ward, with more special guests than there were kids. A few lovely children came down to the Radio Lollipop Studio to do a bit of painting and play some table tennis with our special guests. Sunny Ray entertained everyone with his larger than life personality and our Radio Lollipop Volunteers cranked up the bubble machine.

The club donated a wonderful amount of Christmas Show Bags for the children on the wards which were filled with Suns stickers, a little footy and other special GC Suns treats. The children on the ward will be very happy to receive a special Christmas gift from the GC Suns over the coming weeks. Thank you to Corey, Michael and the Club for your generosity and for your continual support and regular visits to Radio Lollipop Gold Coast. We look forward to having you back in the New Year.
