Bunnings on the Gold Coast have made a commitment to kids at Radio Lollipop Gold Coast to come to the studio and carry out craft workshop activities on the first and third Tuesday of each month. They provide everything, the activity and all the items to make it.
This past Tuesday was the first night, the Bunnings team rocked up to provide and carry out craft activities with the children. The craft evening was a huge hit with both children and parents alike. In fact it was the dads that seemed to take over, as there where Bunnings aprons, and uniforms to make them feel at home doing their DIY.
Bunnings Harbour Town Activities Organiser Jenny Dobson together with Southport Team Member and Radio Lollipop volunteer Rachael McLaren didnt stop with just the craft activities, they gave so much of themselves, engaging in noughts and crosses, card games and fun and play with all the children.
Bunnings have enthusiastically joined a partnership with Radio Lollipop and have already generously donated over $2000 worth of equipment and craft materials to Radio Lollipop Gold Coast. They were also instrumental in Radio Lollipop being the recipient of a donation from Dulux Paints of $2400.
We are overwhelmed with all the Gold Coast Bunnings Stores contributing so much to Radio Lollipop for the children and thank them all for their generous support. Bunnings youre simply the best.
