Former Radio Lollipop Honorary Chairman Max Veenhuyzen has done something that Joe Hachem, Australias most famous texas holdém poker player has never achieved to win the worlds biggest weekly online poker tournament PokerStars Sunday Million, netting him a cool $165,000 AUD.
It was the first tournament Max had ever actually won, that had more than 15 people. Max won the tournament against 8063 other players. Max says that society might see poker as gambling but its a game with a big component of skill.
Max donated $5000.00 AUD of his winnings to Radio Lollipop. This donation is going towards the purchase of Radio Lollipop foil balloons which will be given away to the children.
Radio Lollipop would like to congratulate Max on his win and also thank Max for his continued support of Radio Lollipop.
