On behalf of all the children and staff at Tayside Children’s Hospital, and all the volunteers at Radio Lollipop (Dundee), I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff and pupils at Fintry Primary School for their kind donation of £135. This was in response to a recent fundraising campaign which saw us write to all the schools in Dundee asking them to support Radio Lollipop by hosting a fundraising event.

Also, this week we received a most generous donation of £250 from a very kind member of the local community. The gentleman (along with his family and friends) decided that this year instead of buying each other presents for Christmas, they would donate the money to a charity of their choice. He came across the Radio Lollipop website and decided this was to be his choice of charity. He remembers how scary it was when he was in hospital as a child and hoped his donation could help us to make every child’s stay in hospital a bit less frightening than he remembers. Thank you!
