Over the summer Radio Lolliopop Edinburgh have been running a name the bear competition at all of our Roadshows.
Visitors to the roadshow have had the chance to win our giant 6 foot bear simply by guessing its name.
Because we are nice here in Edinburgh we even gave out a clue our bear was named after a famous musician! We also gave our loads of clues during the roadshow and even played songs by the artist who our giant bear was named after!
We had hundreds of entrys and a wide a varied selection of guesses.
Some of the gueeses we received were:
Robbie
Elvis
Fish
Travis
Elton
Rudi Scachel (ex Hearts footballer)
Gummie (as in bear)
Ozzy
Lolli
Bradley
Madonna
Ganrls
Gilbert
Sam
Tom
Britney and loads more
However the bear only has one name and there can only be one winner.
The winner of the bear was Connor Murray from Saughton Mains in Edinburgh.
Connor correctly guessed that our bear was called FREDDIE. Freddie was named after Freddie Mercury from Queen.
Freddie will be handed over to Connor in the Radio Lollipop Studio shortly Connor is even free to rename him if he wants to!
The picture above is Freddie at our Roadshow in Danderhall. As you can see hes quite big so hopefully Connor has a big bed room!
