On Thursday 24 March, the Easter Bunny made a special trip to the Children’s Hospital in Bristol to help Radio Lollipop volunteers give out Easter Eggs to all the children on the wards.

Radio Lollipop hoped that this event would bring some Easter cheer to the children, despite them being in hospital. The appearance of the Easter Bunny, whose costume and volunteers had been kindly donated by Asda in Whitchurch, made the annual tour of the wards even more special.

The eggs were generously provided by The Mall Galleries in Broadmead and by Asda’s customers. The Eggs were handed out on Thursday evening by the volunteers to all children staying in the hospital, as well as their visiting brothers and sisters. A great evening was had by the children and the volunteers, and we hope that the Easter Bunny will be visiting us again next year!
