Radio Lollipop Chairperson, Kate Harris, met with Somerset College childcare students from “Anne’s Group” to talk about Radio Lollipop and life as a volunteer for Radio Lollipop Bristol.

The students have busy arranging events to raise funds for Radio Lollipop Bristol as one of their friends is currently a patient at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children.  They have held a bake sale and they are organising bag packing at a local supermarket and will be holding a Valentines Ball!

Their teacher, Anne Staboulis, was also a founding member of the Radio Lollipop Bristol team!

Kate spent the morning with the class, talking about her experiences and offering advice about organising fundraising events.  Hobble the Wandering Bear also made an appearance!
