Radio Lollipop Newcastle’s wonderful volunteers (Shanel, Cheryl, Joby, Laura, Georgia, Amy and Sophie – in no particular order) gave up their Christmas Eve to organise an extra special radio show and set of ward rounds before Santa came. For our young patients who were too poorly to go home for Christmas and their families they brought fun, games and welcome smiles on a very important night of the year. We are really proud of their efforts – and to quote the famous song didn’t want to “Let it Go” without a huge thank you to them all.
