Ahoy there and avast me hearties!  There was a lot of pirate party fun on the Good Ship Lollipop in Bristol on Saturday 16 July as the team celebrated the Bristol Harbour Festival which was taking place in the city over the weekend.

Captain Splinter and Hobble were at the helm with First Mates Burfoot and Wherrett manning the deck with the help of Long John Andrew Long.

Patients, siblings and their families came along to visit and there were plenty of pirate crafts and activities to keep them entertained.

We also sang a few sea shanties and taught everyone how to speak pirate.

Thankfully there were no incidents of walking the plank, although Long John Andrew Long came very close for telling his infamous pirate jokes!
