Pantomime Telemarketing Appeal Launched

We are delighted with the ongoing support of Southern Stars team, and their annual telemarketing fundraising campaign. With the incredible support of the public and organisations throughout New Zealand, not only do you buy tickets for children to watch a live pantomime but you help put laughter and play in a place of pain.

The funds raised will benefit Radio Lollipop New Zealand and assist in numerous initiatives coming in 2023. With our LolliTrollie on the way and the Starship studio on the move, it’s going to be a big year. Your donation will allow us to gain invaluable equipment, creating a HUGE amount of fun during a child’s stay in hospital.

Southern Stars is currently running our annual telephone fundraising campaign for Radio Lollipop New Zealand which will run from Monday March 20th to Friday May 19th.

Southern stars charitable trust – k.i.s.s. (kids in show seats)

Southern Stars Charitable Trust is a huge supporter of Radio Lollipop New Zealand (Christchurch, Counties, Starship, Waitakere & Whangarei)

This year, their pantomime production of Sleeping Beauty will take place on Saturday 2nd May, 2020 in Auckland.

A telemarketing campaign will commence on the 24th February, lasting until 24th April inclusive. Companies and supporters will be contacted and asked to sponsor tickets, which will be donated to other charitable organisations for children in need.

Celebrating 30 Years of Radio Lollipop in Edinburgh with the 80s Ball

The Radio Lollipop 80’s Ball raised a fantastic £13,700 for the charity, which is celebrating 30 years in Edinburgh this year. The 1980s themed event took place on Friday 4th October at the Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel.

The event received corporate support from Thomson Gray, Forbo Flooring and Will Rudd Davidson. Compere for the night was Scott Wilson, and musical entertainment was provided by the 1980s tribute band the Musical Tones.

Thank you to everyone involved with the night, you made it such a success!
